During the 2016-17 calendar school year, Baldwin County High School embarked on a new adventure. Through the help of Principal Craig Smith, school sponsors, business sponsors and parent volunteers the High School Fishing Team was established. Baldwin County has a vast ecosystem that allows anglers of all ages to enjoy the great outdoors. The creation of the Baldwin County High Fishing Team has allowed rising 9th – 12th grade students who enjoy the sport of fishing to better their skills and compete against other school clubs around the state. Even though the students compete to be at the top of the leader board in each tournament, the team learns the value of sportsmanship and conservation. In the 2016-17 school year, the BCHS Fishing Team competed in three tournaments across the state. This year the team will be starting weekend tournaments in September and go through May 2018. Currently, the BCHS Fishing Team are tentatively scheduled to participate in eight tournaments.
This is where your partnership will be much appreciated. While Baldwin County High School has allowed this great team to form under their sponsorship, all funding must be raised by the anglers. No funding is received directly from BCHS or the Baldwin County School Board. Your contribution will help cover the cost of entry fees, room and board, as well as fuel cost associated with each tournament. In return for your sponsorship, we are offering multiple advertising opportunities throughout the 2017-18 season.

That support has paved the way for a great group of anglers to not only improve skills but to become good stewards of the land. We are immensely thankful to our past, present and future sponsors for any donations they provide and most of all your support.
In demonstration of our gratitude, BCHS Fishing Team would like to offer your name or business name advertising during our tournaments. This may be done via banners, boat decals, towing vehicle magnets, covers and most importantly word of mouth by our anglers.
